Robin d'Arcy Shillcock
Lonely Coast Art Projects, Groningen, Netherlands

W.H.Smith, Galerie Oog Voor Natuur, Opheusden, Netherlands

I have followed birds deep into the wilderness, slipped goshawks at prey, taken wild birds into my home. In my paintings and drawings I try to touch on every aspect of birdlife, from birth to death. my interest doesn't stop where a bird's life ends. My paintings pay homage to individuals and to meaningful moments shared with them. I paint to stop the march of time, and to say: Look, this is a moment I do not want to forget.

Robin d'arcy Shillcock operates internationally as a painter and writer. He works in various genres and in each the personal story plays a major role. His works are in public, corporate and private collections in eight countries. His books about travel, nature and art have appeared in five languages.
