From an early age, Christiane Girard displayed a passion for observing birds together with a natural talent for drawing. With binocular around her neck and an endless curiosity, she has explored every facet of the natural world. Her knowledge of birds, plants, and insects gathered over the years has become the basis for lectures she gives to raise public awareness of the environment. Self-taught, she has found in acrylic the perfect media to represent on paper her field observations. She has been featured in several exhibitions, solo or as part of a group, and some of her works have been reproduced as Limited Editions. |
