Viktor took part in numerous scientific expeditions where he was involved in the creation of films about cranes. Thus, one day he met George Archibald, director of the International Crane Foundation, who advised him to paint paintings of nature. It was a new field for Viktor, but he liked challenges, so he tried. Now there are many of his paintings in Sweden, Holland, Spain, England, South Africa, Japan, Taiwan, and the U.S.A.

Since 1994, Viktor has lived in Wisconsin. He has done much traveling during those five years. "As for me, no fantasy is comparable to surprising reality", Viktor says. He tries to share his endless admiration of nature with others.
