Christophe
Drochon |
Each painting is an attempt to understand and reply to essential questions I ask myself about the world that surrounds me, the reasons for my presence on Earth, and my origins. Fond of nature, I seek answers through animals (particularly in the expression in their eyes). I often use symbols and through the construction of my images try to engage spectators within a chronological history of life as represented by the eye in painting. I feel at ease using a hyper realistic technique. I often use acrylics, although I also enjoy oil and gouache. Additional Biographic Information. |
